Though possessing eyes and ears, they neither see nor hear anything but colors and sounds. Though possessing subtle bodies, they use them like beasts. Though possessing the intellect, they use it for sterile sciences. Though possessing the Soul, they use only the word, sometimes with crass meanings. But they do not open It up to Love. |

And God created Light… and the infinite Souls in the darkness. Countless Souls in a universe, they return to Him in the Darkness. The darkness does not soil, not even when we obscure the Soul with illusion. |

Enlightened beings at various levels spontaneously perform meritorious acts. But they remain attentive, and follow the path which leads to the development of a characteristic. They recognize awakened beings, but don’t know what a sage is. They know that the Way lies within them, and they perceive It. But, still separated, at times they vacillate. |

If you believe to have a “master,” verify whether he has accepted you. You do not choose him, he chooses you. In this way, the Absolute has chosen the creation and the created being has “chosen” in Him. Words do not have the same meaning for everyone. |
