Chapters

410) The elderly person lives within you, in the child that is being born. But bring the ancient hands and the proper feet.
411) There are great masters in the children who penetrate the walls of men without falling into the mirrors. Those who harm these children fear their nakedness.
412) The Divine Message lies in their smiles. Those who turn their smiles into weeping should listen to the cries, which call out to demons. One of their loving tears is worth oceans. Oceans of suffering.
413) The eyes are the same, the smiles similar, little hands reaching out. They unknowingly follow the path of knowledge. Seekers in the two directions, the disciples and the masters, the elderly and the sages. They contain and lose.
414) If an elder is within the child who prays, he has no need for large hands. If the child is one who seeks, he will need large hands – to build great temples in which absolute illusion awaits death.
415) Give yourself away and you will never be tired. Run away from yourself and you will always be hungry.
416) The limpid, simple purity of the child empties the learned. Wisdom becomes love.
417) Those who have too many walls within are transparent to the children, who are older than them. No longer able to look in the children’s eyes, they lose their only chance to look at the sky.
418) Those who believe to be the masters of the world are far from the search for spiritual realization. They seem like children; they are only far from what terrorizes them. Possessing nothing, they believe to possess everything.
419) If, without the inner light, you try to explain what you have read in the dark, you will explain the universe and lose the void. You will fragment the Truth and lose the Way.
